Public Works Department

Our Public Works Inspectors ensure that Federal, State, and local government construction of water and sewer systems, storm drain systems, highways, streets, bridges, and dams conform to detailed contract plans and specifications. They inspect, but are not limited to, the following types of construction: excavation and fill operations, the placement of forms for concrete, concrete mixing and pouring, asphalt paving, landscaping and irrigation installations, sewer and storm water lift stations, and grading operations. Our inspectors are also able to verify ADA Compliance as well as NPDES storm water run-off requirements.

Detailed Records
Our inspectors maintain daily records of the work and materials used so that contract payments can be calculated. Our public works inspectors, in addition to the daily records, take daily photographs of the work being performed, because as we know, "A picture is worth a thousand words." All of these records and photographs are of the digital media type and can be quickly forwarded to any of our clients via e-mail. We are also able to record processes via small MPEG videos, which can also be forwarded in e-mails.

Record Archiving
All of these records are backed up nightly on tape to ensure that no data is ever lost. We strive to stay at the forefront of technology while still maintaining our customer satisfaction-oriented services.
