Building Department Management and Staff Augmentation
Are

Building Inspection
Our
experienced inspectors are ICBO/ICC-trained and -certified. They can
work on a full-time or part-time basis, to suit your needs and budget.
Precision Inspection's building inspectors offer complete inspection
services for residential, commercial and industrial projects, including
all construction types, ensuring compliance with all building, fire,
and safety codes.
CASp Inspection and Plan Review
The new CASp certification has changed the landscape of Construction
Inspection in the state of California. Now, there is a
professional certification ensuring that inspected facilities are
compliant with the accessibility requirements adopted by the State of
California and the federal government. ADA-complaince is no longer
something business owner can afford to ignore, as focus and scrutiny in
the area of accessibility are only going to grow. With this additional
focus on compliance, it is worth your time to ensure that your existing
and planned structures are ADA-compliant.
- Plan Review -
Our CASp Inspector will review your facility's plans and specifications
for compliance with applicable accessibility requirements. A CASp
certification of your plans is the best way to ensure your compliance
with these requirements.
- Inspection / Evaluation
- Our CASp Inspector will inspect and evaluate your facility's
compliance with applicable federal and state accessibility
requirements, and will either certify your facility as CASp Inspected,
or CASp Determination Pending. In the event of the second
determination, our inspector will provide you with a detailed list of
corrections that need to be made.
Plan Review
Buried under piles of plans to
check? Precision's staff of professional plan checkers and structural
engineers are ready to assist in all aspects of plan review. We
guarantee a prompt turnaround and are willing to make special
arrangements to expedite your plans, if needed. Wondering about the
status of your plans? Feel free to contact us, and one of our courteous
plan check technicians will be more than happy to answer any questions
that you might have. Our plan checkers carefully review all documents
for compliance with Building Codes, Energy Conservation Standards,
Disabled Access Regulations, and Local Ordinances.
Public Works Inspection
Our
experienced inspectors are trained utilizing the Construction
Inspection Workshops provided by the American Public Works Association.
They can work on a full-time or part-time basis, to suit your
needs and budget. Precision Inspection's public works inspectors offer
complete inspection services for water and sewer systems, storm
drainage facilities, streets and roads improvement, traffic
improvements, parks and capital improvement projects, ensuring
compliance with plans and specifications, and any and all local
standards and specifications. Precision Inspection Company, Inc. is
currently providing this level of service in five municipal
jurisdictions as well as two central valley water districts.
Municipal Code Enforcement
Precision
Inspection's Code Enforcement Division is fully capable of implementing
and operating a proactive or reactive code enforcement environment in
any small- to mid-sized jurisdiction. All positions are staffed by
well-qualified and certified professionals who are politically
sensitive to the needs of the jurisdiction, while maintaining the
requirements of "due process". Our code enforcement officers are PC832
certified.
Section 8 Inspection
Our experienced inspectors
provide jurisdictions with inspections required by law for Section 8
standards. These inspections are governed by the local housing
authority and are the assurance that the standards set forth by the
housing authority are being met and adhered to.
CDBG Management
Community
Development Block Grant management at the Housing Specialist level is
another service offered by Precision Inspection Company, Inc., Code
Enforcement Division. Our collective experience in Construction
Management, Building Inspection, and Code Enforcement provide us with a
unique skillset that allows us to excel in CDBG Management. We are able
to provide highly competent personnel with demonstrated experience from
document administration to finished projects.
